Friday, March 25 –After a great night’s sleep, up early read to hit the ground running–literally. Did a 3.8 mile jog(slog) to start the day, with scenery much more interesting than my usual route.

Breakfast at the hotel where we learned its interesting history from the woman at the front desk.

Lots of sightseeing–Campanile (Giotto’s Bell Tower), Baptistery, Galileo Museum, Duomo, Duomo Museum and Santa Maria Crypt interspersed with several excellent food and/or drink respites.

A most excellent day in absolutely perfect weather!
