Tuesday, March 29 – First full day in Sicily started with a jog through the streets as the city woke up. Just me, the other joggers, dog walkers and the early morning types waiting for the bus.

Then Dan and I took a long walk around the waterfront (Hello there Mediterranean!), through a city park and then into the market area, including a small cappuccino break.

The early afternoon we relaxed on the rooftop terrace of our hotel before our tour kickoff at 3PM. 15 of us on the tour, seems like a good group.

Our guide took us on an orientation walk, then for a look at a 17th century palazzo before finishing with an excellent 4 course dinner. Nancy is going to kill me, I got busy chatting and forgot to take food photos (when did I turn into Dan???!!) I promise to do better in the future!

Finished the meal after 10PM so after 25K+ steps and all that food, ready to call it a day!
