Road Trip, 2021 Day 2

Chambersburg, PA

Sunday, September 12 – Started with a trip down memory lane.

Mass at Assumption, a swing by Kings Highway, up Ludlow Road to see the house I grew up in (almost drove by it, didn’t recognize it at first) and then a stop to say hello to Mom & Dad.

Then Dan and I had a leisurely brunch before hitting the road. Beautiful day, though not an exciting drive to the mecca of Chambersburg, PA.

Just relaxing with a beverage and some takeout this evening, but are now set up for the scenic part of our travels

First time testing out this branch of the Hilton line. Perfectly acceptable for our needs — basic, clean, decent fitness room and breakfast, right off the interstate. Nothing exciting but it worked.
