Friday, August 23 – So, today a day trip to Roskilde to visit the Roskilde Cathedral and the Viking Ship Museum.

Must say, the cathedral was a bit morbid, all these coffins and crypts of Danish royalty, though the building and architecture were beautiful.

Arrived at the ship Museum just in time for a tour of the boat building area and it was both fascinating and an excellent prelude to the actual museum. Who knew Viking boats could be so interesting?

Now back for some rest and clean up for dinner. That French bistro is calling out name….
