North Redington Beach, Florida
Thursday, November 2 – Ahhhhh, another day of sunshine, warm temperatures and pure relaxation.
After a great night’s sleep, was wide awake by 5:30 so decided to do my resistance workout. Then a Dunks coffee before Nancy arrived for a sunrise walk along the beach.
A delicious breakfast/brunch and then it was time for a few hours at the beach–lounging, reading and walking. As it was a little too breezy to kayak, we decided to head to John’s Pass in Madeira Beach to wander around the shops and boardwalk before a stop at a tiki bar. We weren’t excited by the Grace Slick wannabe providing live entertainment, but we had a drink and several laughs before we headed out to dinner.
We ate on a deck overlooking the beach and a beautiful sunset–perfect end to a lovely day enjoying the sun, sand and company.

John’s Pass Village:
The pass was created by a hurricane in 1848. A pirate, John Levique, made the first passage thus the name. Home to a lot of tourist centered bars, restaurants and water tours.
Breakfast:
Again, went out for a nice brunch, but don’t remember the name of the place
Drinks:
Bamboo Beach Bar & Grill:

Tiki bar vibe with very loud and not particularly talented live music

Standard Florida bar food, but great deck for watching the sunset!

Another relaxing day with no particular goals in mind. Some wandering around the shops, plenty of food and beverages and lots of laughs.
