Monday, October 31 – great day on vacation. So many photos it was hard to trim it down.

As the sun finally decided to make an appearance, we took a sunrise walk on the beach to start the day. After breakfast, the boys decided to go into the city to look at Navy boats while the gals took another more extended walk, this time to the opposite end of the beach from yesterday’s trek.

Then a relaxing afternoon reading and watching the waves. This, of course, included the requisite burn where I neglected to sunscreen.

Dan and Bernie returned and we all cleaned up for the quick (and cozy, reminder, a Camry is best suited for 4 or fewer passengers) drive into Charleston for a nice city walk and our splurge dinner. We had some delicious food and many, many good laughs.

Back ‘home’ , a short dip in the hot tub brought our excellent day to a satisfying close.
