Tuesday, November 1 – Final full day in South Carolina and the weather saved the best for last.
Foggy start to the day, so sunrise was muted, but still special. The boys even joined us for today’s long beach walk, then some beach time (and, despite the latex-like sunscreen, more burn for me…).
Late afternoon, an excellent kayak ride along the Folly River included a dolphin sighting.
The ladies then utilized the hot tub one more time while Bernie took care of grilling a great dinner. A final Bert’s ice cream and now the World Series to close an absolutely fabulous getaway.
