Napflio, Greece
Saturday, September 10 – Relaxed morning in Hydra. Got up to catch a beautiful sunrise. After another great breakfast, one last stroll around the hills.
Noon brought our blissfully short ferry ride to the Peloponnese peninsula. A quick lunch while they got our rental car ready, then we were off on the 90 minute drive to Napflio. Dan had to re-learn how to drive a standard while on narrow winding roads where the center line is apparently a suggestion and everywhere is a passing zone. The fun culminated as we got to our destination and the GPS routed us onto a pedestrian street. Always great for marital harmony.
We did some exploring through the town including a drink at a waterfront cafe. I went to Mass in a church that was once a mosque and Dan reveled in the air conditioned hotel room. Temps today did crest over 90. A nice dinner at a restaurant recommended by the hotel, followed by another stroll through the busy town square before calling it an evening.

Porto Bello Napflio:
Another guest house type lodging covering two buildings with a set of stairs between them. Room had a lovely porch overlooking the town and the guy at reception did our laundry for free!
