Saturday, April 9 – Epilog.

One more jog around Catania, a final breakfast cappuccino and more hugs and farewells to new friends.

Then it was off to the airport to fly first to Munich, then to Boston. Currently on the Concord Coach back to NH. If all goes well, we will pull into our driveway by 10:15—4:15AM body time and more than 18 hours after leaving our hotel this morning.

Despite the long day, the trip was well worth it. Having had to wait more than two years to go overseas definitely helped us appreciate this opportunity even more—travel truly does expand your horizons. And for the first time ever, I don’t have to go back to work on Monday!
