Road Trip, 2021 Day 12

Atlanta, GA

Wednesday, September 22 – So, a day of dichotomy.

Woke up while it was still dark and waited for the sun to rise before embarking on my walk through the park. Tried a new coffee place as my reward for my endeavors.

We had planned to visit Erin at her lab and then take her to lunch, but our old friend the rain intervened. So, we picked up her and some Vietnamese takeout and brought both back to her place.

We vegged, she worked, and eventually the weather cleared and we all got out for another walk. Since we didn’t go out for lunch, we decided to go out for dinner and had a great meal at what has become an old favorite in Midtown.

Weather was actually sunny and dry, rare for Atlanta. Final evening means one more round of Scrabble Wars.

Tomorrow, we head back north.
