Road Trip, 2021 Day 13

Richmond, VA

Thursday, September 23 – The absolute most boring day of the trip.

First, it was sad as we said our goodbyes to Erin this morning before she headed to work and we departed from Atlanta.

Of course, the weather had turned delightful, crisp and sunny and dry. So what did we do? Drove 522 miles on the interstate–almost half the distance home. These two photos represent what I observed virtually all day…

However, in good news, it means we are set up for the next few days–less driving and more visiting as we wind our way back to NH.

So, this evening, you can skip right by my post, hopefully tomorrow I will be slightly more entertaining.

Yeah, another generic chain hotel off the interstate, but perfect for our needs (and I get points!)

Unless you think looking at tractor trailers is a sight, absolutely zero.
