Friday, September 24 – So, this is more like it!

Back in a hotel, so started my day with 40 minutes on the treadmill.

Then breakfast out followed by a visit to the botanical gardens–thanks Bonnie and Steve for the tips!

Then it was a short drive up to Alexandria where we stopped for a beverage (and found out Patriots fans are welcome) before meeting up with my brother Drew and his wife Megan.

Had a great dinner and stroll around Old Town with them and they are graciously hosting us for the night. An excellent day all around!

Oh, and yeah, forgot to take a photo of us at dinner….my bad
