Monday, August 26 –Busy first full day in Stockholm.

Visited the much recommended Vasa Museum (good call) as well as Skansen, the folk art museum. Walked back via Gamla Stan for some gift purchases (hmmm, Erin, what might we have purchased? That reindeer steak you covet ?) No lie, they have a shop 100% devoted to licorice (that’s a present for me).

Now back at hotel to get cleaned up for dinner. Tomorrow we boat around the archipelago, got our tix today.

Weather remains beautiful, must have walked 5-6 miles easy.
