Florida, 2024 Day 2

Marco Island, Florida

Sunday, October 27 – day for relaxing. Got up with the sun to enjoy coffee with the sunrise (but, of course, neglected to take a picture). Went to early Mass with the other old Boomers before enjoying mimosas on the lanai.

Today we ventured to the local beach for some sun, sand and shelling. Got in a great walk along the water before heading home for some lounging, reading and snoozing by the pool (are we noting a trend yet?).

I got in another short walk (and found out the Patriots actually won!) before we cleaned up for dinner. After a nice meal overlooking the bay and marina, we picked up some breakfast items and are now relaxing back at the Airbnb. Please note the numerous relaxing references in this post–it was a lovely day.

Tomorrow…hmmmm…perhaps we need a tad more rest….
