Tuesday, October 29 – Transition day. But first, an early morning tabata workout poolside in solidarity with my boot camp buddies at home. Even in the dark, it was plenty humid.

After breakfast, we took one more walk around Marco Island, and then it was time to start packing up–but not before we were startled by the pool guy just wandering in to test the water. Good thing I wasn’t in the middle of my morning au natural sunbathing

Once we had the car loaded, it was time to head across the state via Alligator Alley. Thankfully, a Nancy handled all the driving, all I had to do was ride along (shortest person gets the backseat).

We unloaded our stuff at Nancy’s condo, and then it was time for a nice lunch, including beverages, along the water. Picked up some groceries, then spent the early afternoon lounging, reading, and napping in the warm breeze.

Nancy 2 and I decided we should try to be a little ambitious, so we took a walk along the Atlantic. Managed to get a bit soggy in the spray, but I never complain about the opportunity to be near the ocean.

Stayed in for dinner, a simple but delicious salad thanks to Nancy. Once again, all I did was sit, stay out of the way and let others do the work–I am quite proficient at that!

This evening, the Yankee fans will once again put on the game, thinking that their team might actually get a timely hit. This far, I haven’t seen any reason they should hold out any hope…Guess we shall see.

Tomorrow, fun on the other side of the state.
